Basketball Recap: Hillel Academy Takes a Loss

Hillel Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Christian Falcons.

Despite the loss, Hillel Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Coby Shaw posted 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shaw has scored all season. Yaakov Kaminsky was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hillel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Trinity Christian, they moved to 1-2 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Hillel Academy will challenge Summit Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cheswick Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th.
