Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Lancers vs. St. Dominic Crusaders
On Thursday, Lafayette faced St. Dominic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lafayette Lancers fell just short of the St. Dominic Crusaders by a score of 3-2. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Lafayette actually scored more points across those five sets (108-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 15-25, 17-15.

After both having extra time off, Lafayette and Parkway West will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
