Soccer Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry lost against Caledonia-Mumford back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Raiders, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Perry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 375th, while Caledonia-Mumford are ranked 88th).

Perry dropped their record down to 2-13-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Caledonia-Mumford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Perry will venture away from home to take on Andover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Andover's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Byron-Bergen at 6:00 p.m.
