If Holmes wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Scott, they should've done a better job of containing Trey Cook. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 54-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Cook, who threw for 293 yards and seven TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 42 yards. His passing game has become a key predictor of Scott's success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-6 otherwise.

The win snapped Scott's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Scott nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
