Basketball Recap: Abilene Piles Up the Points Against Wall

Abilene waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Wall Hawks, posting a 67-35 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Hawks are ranked 687th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Abilene pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Wall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abilene will be home for the holidays to greet Permian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
