Basketball Recap: Tramaine Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Splendora over Pasadena

Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pasadena Eagles.

Splendora lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tramaine Jackson, who posted 21 points and five rebounds. Brock Kirby was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 15 points.

Even though they lost, Splendora smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Splendora now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Pasadena, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

When Splendora and Pasadena next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Splendora will square off against Crosby and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Splendora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season. Similarly, Pasadena will try to stop Kingwood Park's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
