Basketball Recap: Kapa'a Comes Up Short at Home Against Kauai Christian Academy

Kapa'a unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Kauai Christian Academy Fishers on Tuesday, falling 50-29. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Kauai Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Nathan Arbo, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Jed Van Zee was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 21 boards.

The win got Kauai Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.

Kapa'a has already played their next game (against King Kekaulike), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kauai Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
