Baseball Preview: Dinuba Emperors vs. Hanford Bullpups
The Dinuba Emperors will head out on the road to square off against the Hanford Bullpups at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Dinuba scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Tulare Union with a sharp 12-4 win. The victory was just what Dinuba needed coming off of a 15-9 defeat in their prior contest.

Mason Soares looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Derek Knight was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. Manny Souza was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBI.
Dinuba's record is now 6-11. As for Hanford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
