Recap: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles
The Johnson Atomsmashers lost against the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Johnson took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hilton Head Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Johnson has scored all season.
Morgan Scott continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hilton Head Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Yarde, who scored ten points.
Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Johnson is on the road again on Friday and play against Valdosta at 10:00 a.m. on December 22nd. Hilton Head Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on George Washington at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
