Colleyville Heritage is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of Grapevine. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three points.

The losing side was boosted by Samari Stevenson, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. That was a full 36.8% of Colleyville Heritage's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Payne, who had four points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Argyle entered their tilt with Grapevine on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 43-17 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Argyle pushed their record up to 26-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Colleyville Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Colleyville Heritage was taken down by Argyle 67-23 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Colleyville Heritage was down 36-12.
