Basketball Game Preview: Meade Mustangs vs. Loyola Blakefield Dons

Having just played yesterday, the Meade Mustangs will jump right back in to play the Loyola Blakefield Dons at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Loyola Blakefield took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Meade, who comes in off a win.

Meade had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Southern by a score of 62-53 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Keon Scott, who posted 21 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arouna Soumaoro, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, Loyola Blakefield was beaten by Our Lady of Mount Carmel 73-44 on Wednesday. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
