After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Galena, Chadwick was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Southwest Trojans.
Chadwick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-20.
Southwest's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Laura Henry, who had nine digs and 19 assists, and Olivia Hnem, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hnem has posted in her last five contests.
