Basketball Game Preview: Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal vs. Liberty Red Devils

The Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal will head out on the road to challenge the Liberty Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Brashier Middle College Charter came up short against Blacksburg and fell 61-49. While the Bengal didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 18-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Liberty managed to keep up with High Point Academy until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Liberty lost 71-46 to High Point Academy. Liberty has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-16.

Brashier Middle College Charter ended up a good deal behind Liberty in their previous matchup back in January, losing 57-43. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Liberty's Kendrick Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds.
