Soccer Game Preview: Catoosa vs. McAlester

The Catoosa Indians will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the McAlester Buffaloes at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Catoosa fell victim to Oologah and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, McAlester kept a clean sheet against Claremore on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Zebras, sneaking past 1-0. That's two games straight that the Buffaloes have won by just one goal.

Catoosa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McAlester, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
