Baseball Recap: Waukesha South Comes Up Short

Waukesha South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders.

Waukesha South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Montez, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Michael Petfalski was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Waukesha South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Wauwatosa East, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Waukesha South will face off against Mukwonago at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wauwatosa East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Allis Hale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
