Basketball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Arlington Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-51 to the North Creek Jaguars. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jocelyn Tamayo, who posted 16 points. Madison McGill was another key player, putting up ten points.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Creek, they will square off against Lake Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully North Creek likes a good challenge.
