            Football Preview: Perkiomen Valley Vikings vs. Coatesville Red Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            The Perkiomen Valley Vikings will challenge the Coatesville Red Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Perkiomen Valley is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games.
On Friday, Perkiomen Valley didn't have too much trouble with Pottsgrove  as they won  21-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Falcons are ranked 226th).
Perkiomen Valley relied on the efforts of   Will Stein, who picked up 88 receiving yards and one  score, and   Colin Sturges, who gained 84 total yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 72 yards.
 Perkiomen Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over.  Juliun Corropolese was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two  interceptions all by himself.
 Meanwhile, Coatesville played in-conference for the first time  on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They blew past Bishop Shanahan 28-7. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21  points or more this season.
 Coatesville's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Perkiomen Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
 Things could have been worse for Perkiomen Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  28-13 loss to Coatesville when the teams last played  back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
