Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Caroline Armstrong and Olivia Frey Lead Johnson Creek to Victory

Johnson Creek entered their tilt with Rio on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Johnson Creek easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Johnson Creek was led to victory by Olivia Frey and Caroline Armstrong. Frey had 20 assists, while Armstrong had seven digs and seven aces. That's the most aces Armstrong has posted since back in September.

Johnson Creek's record now sits at 13-11. As for Rio, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-24.

Coincidentally, Johnson Creek and Rio will both be playing Horicon the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will head out to face the Marshmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
