The Pleasant Spartans will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Kenton Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. Pleasant will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
On Friday, Pleasant got the win against Ridgedale by a conclusive 14-1.
Kylie Eastep made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Eastep was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Pleasant got a massive performance out of Hannah Miller, who went 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and a triple. Faith Staley was another key contributor, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Kenton, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.
