Volleyball Recap: Smoky Valley Comes Up Short

Smoky Valley lost against Clay Center back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Smoky Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season. As for Clay Center, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-2.

Looking ahead, Smoky Valley will head out to challenge Halstead on Monday. As for Clay Center, they will be taking part in a tournament against Abilene at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
