Trinity Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Smoky Valley Vikings on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Trinity Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Smoky Valley between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Dominique Schellenger paced Trinity Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Schellenger got some help from Krista Eklund and her 14 assists. Finally, Audrey Smith kept Trinity Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Smoky Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-26.

Trinity Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Garden Plain on the 20th. Smoky Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
