Baseball Recap: Exeter-West Greenwich Takes a Loss

After flying high against Juanita Sanchez Complex last Tuesday, Exeter-West Greenwich came back down to earth. The Scarlet Knights took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Country Day Knights on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Exeter-West Greenwich saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Monteiro, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Exeter-West Greenwich's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Providence Country Day, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Exeter-West Greenwich nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
