Baseball Game Preview: Broome Centurions vs. Chesnee Eagles

The Broome Centurions are taking a road trip to square off against the Chesnee Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Broome will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Broome earned a 6-1 win over Union County.

Meanwhile, Chesnee posted their closest victory since April 18, 2025 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out CHASE 3-2. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Trojans on their field since March 17, 2017.

Chesnee's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Broome, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Broome suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Chesnee in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Centurions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
