Baseball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Takes a Loss

Plymouth Whitemarsh lost against Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colonials fell just short of the Hatters by a score of 4-3. The Colonials have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jake Rauscher was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Gabe Caucci was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hatboro-Horsham, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

While Plymouth Whitemarsh had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
