Volleyball Recap: Oak Forest Comes Up Short

Oak Forest was the 2-0 winner over Ridgewood when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bengals fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Charlie Davidson paced Oak Forest's offense, picking up 13 kills. Davidson got some help from Jacob Hladyshewsky and his 26 assists.

Oak Forest now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Ridgewood, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Oak Forest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Prosser on the 3rd. As for Ridgewood, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Chicago Christian on the 3rd.
