Basketball Recap: Tidehaven Comes Up Short

Tidehaven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 47-28 bruising from the Yoakum Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tidehaven's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Yoakum, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Tidehaven Tigers face off against the Columbus Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Yoakum, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hallettsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
