Mathew Rios put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
