Softball Recap: Centerville Tigers vs. Oakwood Panthers
Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oakwood Panthers. Even if the Tigers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Centerville got a massive performance out of Delaney Boren, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Boren a new career-high. Skyler Selvog was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Boren wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Centerville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
