Basketball Recap: Brownsboro Takes a Loss

Brownsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 71-52 fall against the Athens Hornets. The Bears were probably out for revenge after losing 54-41 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brownsboro's record now sits at 9-13. As for Athens, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Canton the next time they take the court. Athens will head out to face Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Brownsboro will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
