Basketball Recap: Axtell Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Axtell and Hanover squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Axtell had to settle for second. They lost 46-25 to the Hanover Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 64 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Axtell's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Hanover, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Axtell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
