Softball Recap: Olney Comes Up Short

Olney fell victim to Haskell and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Haskell Indians. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Olney dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Haskell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Olney will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northside at 5:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Haskell, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Harrold at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
