Baseball Recap: Montevideo Beats MACCRAY for Their Fourth Straight Win

Montevideo had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt MACCRAY on Monday. The Thunderhawks put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Thunderhawks have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Montevideo, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for MACCRAY, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
