Baseball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Summit Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 10-1 to Regent Prep. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Regent Prep this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 two weeks ago.

Summit Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Antle, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

The defeat snapped Summit Christian Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Regent Prep, their record now sits at 4-2.

Looking ahead, Summit Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Braggs at 1:00 p.m. As for Regent Prep, they will venture away from home to take on Cleveland at 12:30 p.m. on March 21st.
