Basketball Recap: Novi Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Novi Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 64-42 takedown of Hope Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Novi Christian Academy Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 48-47 to the Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sentinels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Novi Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Novi Christian Academy will square off against Clarenceville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, they will take on Whitmore Lake at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Whitmore Lake will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
