Lamar waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Heights Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Texans: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Lamar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 29-27, 25-18.

Lamar's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Heights, they moved to 26-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Lamar and Heights will both be playing Bellaire the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Texans will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
