Softball Recap: Bear Lake's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bear Lake scored first but ultimately less than Preston in their contest on Friday. They fell 14-9 to the Indians. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 11-6.

Caleigh Beard and Bentley Price did some serious damage despite the final result: Beard went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Price went 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Morgan Armstrong was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Bear Lake's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11. As for Preston, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10.

As of now, neither Bear Lake nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
