McClintock waltzed into their match on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the North Mustangs as they made off with an 18-7 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-6 on Tuesday.

Arieana Sepulveda was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Mya Moreno, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: McClintock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 17 hits in four consecutive games.

McClintock pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

McClintock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North, they will venture away from home to face off against Central at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
