Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Falls Short Against Ranked Pinedale

Mountain View faced Pinedale in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Buffalos fell 2-0 to the Wranglers. The Buffalos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wranglers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Addyson Stephens paced Mountain View's offense, picking up five kills. Stephens got some help from Mariah Micheli and her 14 assists. Micheli was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Pinedale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Mountain View has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Douglas on the 13th. As for Pinedale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Cody on the 13th.
