Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nodaway Valley Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Nodaway Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Wayne has already played their next contest (against Moulton-Udell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Nodaway Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Chariton on the 14th.
