Baseball Recap: Van-Far Takes a Loss

Van-Far was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Bowling Green Bobcats. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Van-Far's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bowling Green, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Van-Far didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Wellsville-Middletown on the 24th. As for Bowling Green, they will head out to challenge Wright City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
