Burton had won nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 18-4 to make it ten. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Snook Bluejays. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

As for Snook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-16-1.

For Snook's part, Aubrey Becker put in work while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Becker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Burton has already played their next game, a 16-1 victory against Big Sandy on the 24th. Snook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
