Burns extended their road winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Tye Clay. The Burns Bulldogs really took it to the Cherryville Ironmen for the full four quarters, racking up  a  79-31 victory thanks in part to  Clay, who  went 9 of 13  en route to 21 points and six  assists. What's more,  he also posted a 69%  shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's  posted since back in December of 2023.
 Cherryville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Andron Patterson, who  posted nine  points.  Darius Pullen was another key player,  putting up eight points.
Burns is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record  this season. As for Cherryville,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-20.
 Burns has already played their next game,  a  73-69  win against Bessemer City on the 7th. As for Cherryville, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  56-30  loss against Highland Tech on the 7th.
