Basketball Recap: Chicago Academy Comes Up Short

Chicago Academy was the 35-34 winner over Intrinsic when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 42-28 bruising from the Mustangs on Thursday.

Angel Munoz was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Delaney, who scored ten points.

Chicago Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Intrinsic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Chicago Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against ITW David Speer Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Intrinsic, they will square off against Mather at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
