Basketball Recap: Watford City Comes Up Short

Watford City was the 58-37 winner over Hazen when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Watford City Wolves took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazen Bison. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watford City now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Hazen, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Watford City will welcome Beulah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Watford City is facing Beulah at the right time seeing as Beulah is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Hazen has already played their next matchup (against Shiloh Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
