Baseball Game Preview: Rockland Bulldogs vs. Westport Wildcats

The Rockland Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Westport Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockland hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Things were looking good for Rockland after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 11-1 to Middleborough.

Rockland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Hatch, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Westport fell victim to Diman RVT and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bengals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Westport dropped their record down to 13-9-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rockland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
