The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Baxter's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Colo-NESCO a 9-0 shutout. Considering Baxter has won three contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Baxter's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lynnville-Sully, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
