Softball Recap: Stagg Delta Kings vs. Lathrop Spartans

Stagg came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lathrop Spartans, falling 20-2. The Delta Kings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Aerie Garcia put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
