Basketball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey lost against Chase County back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hershey Panthers were outmatched by the Chase County Longhorns and fell 71-34. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chase County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Rau, who went 7 for 9 en route to 23 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Rau a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Jablonski, who posted ten points along with eight assists and eight boards.

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Chase County, their record is now 7-8.

Hershey will face off against Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Chase County has already played their next game, a 57-54 loss against Perkins County on the 25th.
