Softball Recap: Portland Falls to Bonny Eagle in First Game of Season

Portland had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Bonny Eagle Scots, falling 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Scots since May 24, 2019.

The win made it two in a row for Bonny Eagle and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Portland is set to challenge their familiar foe Windham at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bonny Eagle will face off against rival Massabesic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
