Petoskey strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Traverse City Central Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 on Tuesday.

Mia Owens and Lyla Janes did most of the damage at the plate: Owens went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI, while Janes went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Those two hits gave Owens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alexis Cadarette, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Petoskey pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Traverse City Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Petoskey will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Francis at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Traverse City Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sacred Heart Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
